Zürich Day 1 – Heippa! Siinäpäs muutama kuva reissun ensimmäiseltä päivältä! Lähdettiin siis kahden kaverin kanssa aikaisin perjantaiaamuna Oulusta Helsingin kautta Zürichiin, jonne mentiin tapaamaan meidän siellä asuvaa kaveria. Meidän ensimmäinen lento lähti niin aikaisin, että oltiin perillä Sveitsissä jo ennen kymmentä. Siitä sitten sukkana kattoterassille nauttiin ihana shamppanjabrunssi. Ai että!

Ollaan tutustuttu näitten tyyppien kanssa yliopistolla ja nykyään nähdään porukalla aika harvoin, kun kaikki asuu kuka missäkin. Siksi on sitäkin ihanampaa, kun päästään porukalla näkemään! Nämä naiset on kyllä parasta, mitä opiskeluvuosista jäi käteen!

Brunssin jälkeen suunnattiin järven rantaan ottamaan aurinkoa ja uimaan. Mentiin semmoseen vähän “uimalan” tyyppiseen paikkaan, jossa oli rakennettu isot terassit, missä pystyi ottamaan aurinkoa ja mistä pääsi suoraan järveen uimaan. Harmi, kun ei tullut otettua itse paikasta kuvaa. Sinne piti maksaa pieni pääsymaksu, mutta siellä oli sitten pukukopit, vessat, suihkut ja myös pieni baari, mistä sai ruokaa ja juomaa. En oo muualla törmänny samanlaiseen paikkaan. Tosi kiva paikka, siellä olis voinut olla vaikka koko päivän!

Zürichissa alkoi just tuolla viikolla katuruokafestarit, minne mentiin sitten illalla. Vaikka mitä ruokia oli tarjolla! Pitkät jonot (onneksi) rajoitti annosten ostelua, joten päädyin maistamaan tacoja ja empanadaa. Yks asia, mihin kiinnitin reissussa huomiota, oli kaupungin siisteys. Kaduilla ei tosiaankaan näkynyt roskia ja sama tyyli jatkui tuolla festareilla. Roskia ei näkynyt missään ja muutenkin kaikki vaikutti tosi rauhalliselta ja siistiltä. Ja festarilla vessat oli oikeat vesivessat, missä pääsi myös pesemään kädet. Pientä luksusta 🙂

Palattiin takaisin kotiin suhteellisen aikaisin, koska seuravana aamuna aijottiin lähteä aikaisin Alpeille pikku vaellukselle. Siitä enemmän seuraavassa postauksessa! Kivaa torstai-iltaa! 🙂

Zürich Day 1 – Hello! There are a few pictures from the first day of our Zürich trip! Me and two friends left from Oulu very early on Friday morning and we flew to Zürich via Helsinki to meet a friend who lives there. Our flight departed so early that we arrived there before ten in the morning. Right after arriving to our friend’s place we went to their roof top terrace to have a champagne brunch. So nice!

We got to know each other when we studied in the University and nowadays we don’t meet as a group so often, because we all live in different places. That’s why it’s even more special when we do get to meet! These women are the best thing that the Uni life gave!

After the bruch we went out to the lake to swim and tan. We went to this place (I have no idea what is it called in English…) where they have big terraces for the people to enjoy the sun and to go to swim in the lake. Too bad I didn’t take any pictures of the place itself. They ask for a little fee, but then they offer locker rooms, toilets, showers and ther was even a little bar where people can buy food and drinks. I haven’t seen such places anywhere else. Super nice place, really a place where you could spend the whole day!

That weekend a street food festival started in Zürich and in the evening we went there. There were so many different foods! Long lines (fortunately) restricted from buying too many foods, so I ended up tasting tacos and empanadas. One thing I paid attention to was the cleanness of the city. There was really no trash in the streets and the same continued at the festival. No trash on the ground and everything seemed very cool and calm. Even the toilets at the festival were real toilets with running water and sinks to wash the hands. Little luxury 🙂

We returned back home quite early, because we were planning on leaving to the Alps early the next morning. More about that on the next post! Have a nice Thursday evening!
