Cosmetics shopping – Heippa! Edellisessä postauksessa mainitsin shoppailleeni viikonloppuna vähän kosmetiikkaa ja tässä ne tulee! Tarvitsin uuden kasvovoiteen ja ostin taas tuota Weledan kehäkukkavoidetta, mitä oon käyttänyt jo hetken aikaa. Se on itseasiassa tarkoitettu vauvoille, mutta sopii myös aikuisille. Ainakin mun iholle juuri sopivan rasvainen, mutta imeytyy kuitenkin nopeasti. Ja maksaa alle puolet siitä, mitä Weledan monet kasvovoiteet, mikä on myös plussaa. Tuoksu on myös ihana!

Olin myös aikeissa ostaa jonkun seerumin, mutta kokeilin varmaan ensimmäisenä Sokokselle päästyäni tuota Mossan Vitamin Oil Cocktail-kasvoöljyä ja siihen mun seerumin etsintä sitten loppuikin. Öljy tuoksuu aivan ihanalta ja on koostumukseltaan sopivan kevyttä ja nopeasti imeytyvää. Myös pullo on jotenkin tosi kaunis eikä hinta ollut päätähuimaava, joten valitsin tuon. Sekä Mossa että Weleda ovat luomukosmetiikkaa.

Muistelin kotona Helsingissä, että mulla on vielä jemmassa jotain Nature Republicin tuotenäytteitä Korean reissuilta. Oikein muistin. Kokeilin tuota Snail Solution Skin boosteria ja tykkään! Sitä käytetään puhtaalle iholle kasvoveden jälkeen ennen kosteusvoidetta. Jos vielä lentelisin, ostaisin tuota joltain Korean ja Nykin reissulta. Ei kukaan haluais tuoda tuota mulle? 🙂

Cosmetics shopping – Hello! On my last post I mentioned that I did some shopping last weekend and here they are! I needed a new face cream, so I bought this Weleda Calendula cream that I have been using for a while now. It is actually made for babies, but it is very suitable for adults too. At least to my skin it is a perfect match; thick enough but sinks in quick. And the price is less than half of the other Weleda face creams. I also like the smell!

I was thinking of buying some kind of serum too, but one of the first products I checked in Sokos was this Mossa Vitamin Oil Cocktail face oil and I stopped looking for any serum. This oil smells amazing and the consistency is perfect: not sticky and sinks in fast as well. I also think the bottle is very pretty and it wasn’t too expensive, so I chose this. Both Weleda and Mossa are organic cosmetics.

At home in Helsinki I was thinking that I still might have some Nature Republic samples left from my Korean trips. I remembered right! I tested this Snail Solution Skin booster and I really like it! It is used on clean skin after the toner and before moisturizer. If I was still flying, I would buy that from some Korea or New York layovers. Doesn’t anyone want to bring me some? 🙂

Make-Up finds – Heippa! Pieni meikkipostaus tähän väliin! Hääpostauskin on tulossa, kunhan saan katseltua kuvat valmiiksi. Juhlista on niin paljon kuvia, että en oikeen edes tiedä mistä alottaisin!

Joskus aika kauan sitten mainitsin täällä blogissa, että tein huippulöytöjä yhdellä Kanarian yöpyvällä. Olin siis ruokaostoksilla Mercadonassa, kun ajauduin katteleen kosmetiikkavalikoimaa. Olin superyllättynyt siitä, miten hyvältä kaikki meikit vaikutti. Olisin halunnu ostaa vaikka mitä! Päädyin sitten ostamaan aurinkopuuterin, ruskean kajalin, luomivärikynän ja punaisuutta taittavan peitevoiteen. Oon käyttänyt suurinta osaa noista siitä lähtien päivittäin. Tuo peiteaine varsinkin on ihan huippua. Maksoi muutaman euron ja peittoaa KAIKKI aikaisemmin kokeilemani punaisuuden peittäjät.

Myös tuota kajalia oon käyttänyt melkein päivittäin varsinkin nyt kesällä. En oo ennen edes omistanut ruskeaa kajalia, mutta sepäs sopiikin monesti paremmin kuin musta! Tuo sopivasti terävyyttä katseeseen, mutta ei oo kuitenkaan liian voimakas. Just sopivan luonnollinen ruskettuneen ihon kaveriksi 🙂 Tuosta aurinkopuuterista puhumattakaan. Oon itseasiassa käyttänyt aurinkopuuteria luomivärin sijasta aika usein, sillä saa ihanan kesäisen lookin helposti.

Ollaan menossa Espanjaan syyskuussa, joten taidan tehdä uuden löytöretken taas Mercadonaan 🙂 Mitä mieltä olette markettikosmetiikasta? Onko suosikkeja?

Make-Up finds – Hello! A little make-up post for now. A wedding post will be coming later too, I just need to go through all the pictures. There are so many of them that I don’t know where to start!

Quite a while ago I mentioned here on the blog that I made some great make-up finds on my work trip to the Canary Islands. I was doing my grocery shopping in Mercadona and I ended up checking their make-up section too. I was so surprised about the quality of the products, they all felt so good. I wanted to buy everything! After a long elimination process I walked out with a bronzer, a brow kajal, eye shadow pen and a redness eliminating correction stick. I have been using most of those products daily since then. Especially that stick is the best of ALL the redness eliminating products I have ever tried and it cost a couple of euros.

I have also been using that kajal almost daily now in summer. Before I never even owned a brown kajal, but it actually often fits better that a black one! It sharpens the look nicely without being too heavy. A perfect fit for tanned skin 🙂 Not even mentioning the bronzer. I have actually been using the bronzer as an eye shadow too, makes such a nice summer look.

In September we are going to Spain again, so I think I will have to do another trip to Mercadona 🙂 What do you think about the supermarket cosmetics? You have some favorites?

Rosaliac CC Cream – Help for couperosa skin

Rosaliac CC Cream – Heippa! Oon löytänyt uuden kivan kosmetiikkatuotteen ja ajattelin jakaa sen täällä! Pääsiäisen aikaan, kun oltiin mun vanhempien luona käymässä, näin, että äitillä oli pieni näytepussi CC-voidetta, jonka pitäisi peittää ihon punaisuutta. Kokeilin voidetta silloin ja aika pian menin ostaan koko pullon. Voide on siis La Roche Posayn Rosaliac CC Cream, joka on suunniteltu hoitamaan herkkää ihoa ja peittämään punaisuutta. Oon tottunut siihen, että punaisuutta taittamaan tarkoitetut tuotteen on vihreitä, joten en ensin uskonut, että tämäkin voisi toimia. Tykkään voiteessa eniten siitä, että se ei tunnu eikä näytä meikiltä. Voiteen laittamisen jälkeen iho näyttää tavalliselta, mutta ilman punoitusta. Jos haluaa vielä meikatumman lopputuloksen, voi meikkiä jatkaa muilla tuotteilla.

Mulla oli joskus muinoin sellainen Piz Buinin aurinkovoidepuikko kasvoille, jossa oli vähän väriä mukana. Mulla tulee tästä voiteesta mieleen se aurinkovoide, mutta ihan hyvällä tavalla! 🙂 Tässä Rosaliac-voiteessa on myös aurinkosuojakerroin 30, joten se on täydellinen tuote, jos lähtee vaikkapa urheileen aurinkoon, eikä halua käyttää meikkiä. Tässä postauksessa esittelin mun muita aurinkotuotteita. Voiteesta on olemassa vain yksi sävy, joka on yllättävän tumma. Koen kuitenkin, että sävy sopii mulle ihan hyvin! Kannattaa kuitenkin testata sävyn sopivuutta itselle ennen ostamista. Aurinkoista keskiviikkoa! 🙂

Rosaliac CC Cream –Hello! I have found a new nice cosmetic product and I thought I could share it here too! Around the Easter time we were visiting my parents and I saw this little sample of redness correcting CC cream in my mum’s bathroom cabinet. I tested it out then and quite soon I went to buy the whole bottle. The cream is La Roche Posay’s Rosaliac CC Cream, which is developed to nourish sensitive skin and to cover redness. I’m used to the redness correcting products to be green, so I wasn’t sure at first if this would work. What I like the most in this cream is that it doesn’t feel or look like make-up. After putting on the cream, the skin looks normal, just without the redness. If I wish to have more made up look, I can continue doing my make-up with other products.

Long time ago I had this Piz Buin sunscreen stick for the face that also had a little color in it. Somehow this cream reminds me of that sunscreen, but in a good way 🙂 This Rosaliac cream has SPF 30, so it is a perfect product when you are going out to the sun to do some sports, for example, and you don’t want to wear make-up. In this post I showed my other sun products. There is only one shade of this cream which is surprisingly dark. I feel like it fits me well anyway! I recommend you to test out the shade before buying anyway. Have a sunny Wednesday! 🙂

Hullut päivät

Taas ne huomenna alkaa, Hullut Päivät! Aijotteko mennä? Selailin aamulla kuvastoa ja aika paljon siellä oli kaikkea kivaa. Nyt kun meillä on häät tulossa, niin mitään turhaa ei passaa shoppailla, rahat menee parempaan käyttöön! Käyn kuitenkin melkeen joka hullareilta ostaan samat perusjutut: hiuslakkaa, kuivashampoota, vartalovoidetta ja ripsivärejä. Huomenna mulla on vielä vapaa, niin ajattelin käydä. Loppuviikko meneekin sitten niin tiiviisti töissä, että ei tarvi shoppailemaan lähteä! 🙂

They are here again, Hullut Päivät! Are you going to go? I was flipping through the catalogue in the morning and there were quite a lot of nice things there! Now that we have the wedding coming, I won’t be shopping anything unnecessary since I have better use for the money. Anyway, almost every time I go and buy the same basics on Hullut Päivät: hair spray, dry shampoo, body lotion and mascaras. I still have a day off tomorrow, so I think I’ll visit Stockmann then. The rest of the week I will be working, so no time for shopping later! 🙂

Wedding make up – Heippa! Mainitsin vähän aikaa sitten, että meidän häitä juhlitaan ensi kesänä. En oo vielä kirjoittanut blogiin mitään hää-juttuja, odottakaapa kun pääsen vauhtiin… 😀 No, aloitan aiheen nyt tällaisella kainolla kysymyksellä. Onko lukijoissa ketään meikki-tietäjää? Oon ajatellut tehdä häämeikin itse, koska en kaipaa mitään erityistä ammattimaista juhlameikkiä vaan ihan itse tehty juhlameikki riittää. Toinen kaaso saa liimata mulle muutamat irtoripset ja siinä se!

Haluaisin kuitenkin ostaa jonkun luomiväripaletin juhlameikkiä varten, mulla kun on käytössä vain tämä Smashboxin paletti enkä muita luomivärejä omista. Vähän jotain hohdokkaampaa siis etsin. Jotain kultaan ja kupariin viitaavia sävyjä haikailen! Tähän mennessä oon löytänyt nämä kuvissa näkyvät vaihtoehdot: Urban Decayn Naked3-paletti ja Beccan Ocean Jewels. Molemmat näyttää aikakin kuvissa ihanilta. Onko kellään kokemuksia näistä?

Mulla on tulossa pian se Las Palmasin layover ja siellä olis Sephora. Se on kyllä tosi kaukana meidän hotellilta, mutta ehkä voisin hypätä taksiin ja lähtä ostoksille 🙂

Wedding make up – Hello! Some time ago I mentioned that we will celebrate our wedding next summer. I didn’t write any wedding stuff yet, wait ’till I get started… 😀 Well, I could start the topic with a humble question. Is there any make up-people among my readers? I have thought that I will do my wedding make up myself, since I don’t need any professional wedding make up, self made make up will be enough. One of my bridesmaid can put some extra lashes for me and that will be it!

I would like to buy an eye shadow palette for the wedding make up, since I only have this Smashbox palette and I would like to have something more glamorous. I would love some gold and copper tones! This far I have found these two options: Urban Decay Naked3 and Becca Ocean Jewels. At least in the pictures they look amazing! Do you have any experience in these two?

There is no Sephora in Finland, but I have the Las Palmas layover coming and there is one. It is very far from our hotel though, but maybe I’ll jump into a taxi and go shopping 🙂
