Perfect summer – Heippa! Tällä tavalla vieteltiin iltaa Tyynen kanssa toissapäivänä. Mentiin töiden jälkeen meren rantaan ja leiriydyttiin tuollaiselle särkälle sinne veden keskelle, jotain 50 metriä rannasta. Oltiin vähän sivummalla missä ei ollut muita, niin tuntui niin kuin oltais oltu yksityisellä rannalla. Suomessa ei kovin usein oo sellaista tilannetta, että merivesi on niin lämmintä, ettei se viilennä yhtään. Nautiskeltiin lämmöstä, tuulesta ja lämpimästä merivedestä. Kun lähdettiin pois, kuuden seitsemän aikaan muistaakseni, lämpötila oli vieläkin yli 30 astetta. Ihan käsittämätöntä! Täytyy myöntää, että kyllä vähän harmittaa istua päivät sisällä, kun on tällaiset säät. Toisaalta, iltaisinkin on niin lämmin, että silloinkin ehtii nauttimaan kesästä.
Huomenna töiden jälkeen aijon lähteä suoraan ajelemaan meidän kesämökille Oulujärvelle. Luvassa, toivottavasti, suppailua, wake boardingia ja auringonottoa! Toivotaan, että ne luvatut ukkoset siirtyy vaikka ensi viikolle 😀
Perfect summer – Hello! This is how me and Tyyne were spending the evening the day before yesterday. After my work we went to the beach and settled down on this sandbank maybe 50 meters from the main beach. We were at the side of the beach away from other people on that little sandbank so it felt like we were at a private beach. It is very rare in Finland that the sea water is so warm it doesn’t cool off at all. We were enjoying the warmth, the wind and the warm sea. When we left, around 6-7 pm if I remember correctly, it was still over 30 degrees. Unbelievable! I have to admit that is does feel a little difficult to sit inside on days like this. Luckily it is so warm that there is time to enjoy the summer also after work!
Tomorrow I’ll drive to our summer house at Oulujärvi straight after work. My plans for the weekend include supping, wake boarding and tanning. Let’s hope the thunder that has been forecasted for the weekend moves to next week 😀
(By the way, is it ok to call stand up paddle boarding as supping? I googled and got confused! :D)
