Daily skin care – Heippa! Eilen mainitsin, että mulla on uusia suosikkeja ihonhoitotuotteissa ja tässä ne nyt on! Oon moneen kertaan maininnut, että oon jo pitkään pyrkinyt siirtymään kosmetiikassa mahdollisimman luonnonmukaisiin ja mielellään kotimaisiin tuotteisiin. Tuote kerrallaan oon siis päivitellyt käyttämääni kosmetiikkaa. Osa noistakin tuotteista on ollut jo pitkään käytössä, osa taas on uudempia tuttavuuksia.
Daily skin care – Hello! Yesterday I mentioned that I have some new favorites when it comes to daily cosmetics and here they are now! I have told many times that for a while already I have tried to move towards more natural and preferably Finnish products with my cosmetics. One by one I have updated the products I use. Some of these products I have used for a while already and some of them are new favorites.
Ekassa kuvassa on puhdistustuotteet, joita käytän joka ilta meikin poistoon. Favoran puhdistusvaahdolla ja vanulapulla poistan kasvojen meikin ja tuolla Lumenen aineella silmämeikin. Käyn aina ensin suihkussa, jolloin suurin osa meikistä lähtee jo siinä. Ripsivärinkin valitsen sen perusteella, mikä on helpoin poistaa! En voi sietää meikkiä, joka jämähtää iholle ja jota joutuisi sitten hankaamaan pois. No no!
In the first picture are the cleaning products I use every night to remove make-up. I use the Favora foam and a cotton pad to remove make-up from the face and the Lumene product to remove eye make-up. I always take a shower first so most of the make-up washes off already there. I choose my mascara based on how easy it is to remove! I can’t stand make-up that sticks to the skin and then has to be scrubbed off. No no!
Kakkoskuvassa on Nature Republicin puhdistusaine, jolla pesen kasvot sen jälkeen, kun oon poistanut meikin. Aikaisemmin en tehnyt tällaista välivaihetta, mutta nyt ehkä kuukauden päivät oon harrastanut tätä “tuplapuhdistusta” ja iho vaikuttaa kyllä kirkkaalta. Haluan siis vain varmistaa, että kaikki epäpuhtaudet lähtee iholta ennen kuin laitan kosteusvoidetta. Tuo aine on sellaista, että sitä tarvii vaan ihan minimaalisen vähän ja se vaahtoaa kuitenkin reilusti, joten tuo tuubi kestää mulla noin kaksikymmentä vuotta. Tämä on muuten ainoa päivittäisessä käytössä oleva tuote, joka ei ole kotimainen. Tuo kuvassa oleva pesusieni on ihan paras! Sen kanssa kun pesee, saa samalla kuorittua kasvot kevyesti ja vaikkapa kasvonaamioiden pois peseminen on huomattavasti helpompaa sienen avulla. Pesen kasvot sienen kanssa pari-kolme kertaa viikossa ja muuta kuorintaa ei välttämättä tarvi ollenkaan! Noita myydään melkein kaikissa pikkukaupoissakin. Annoin pakkauksen toisen sienen Awsille ja sekin tykkäs!
In the second picture is the Nature Republic cleanser that I use after removing the make-up. Before I didn’t do this, but for about a month now I have done this “double washing” and my skin feels clear. I just want to make sure I remove all dirt before applying any moisturizer. This product is super long lasting since I only need a tiny bit each time and it still makes a lot of foam. So this tube will last about twenty years with me. This is the only product I use daily that is not Finnish. The sponge in the picture is the best! When I wash my face with it, I can also scrub my face gently and for example rinsing off a face mask is much easier with a sponge. I use the sponge maybe two-three times a week and I might not need any other exfoliation at all. The sponges are sold in most of the markets, even small ones. I gave the other sponge of the package to Aws and he likes it as well!
Frantsilan Kehäkukkavoidetta oon käyttänyt kasvovoiteena jo jonkin aikaa. Suomalainen luomutuote, joka on ihana käyttää eli napakymppi. Voide on sopivan paksua, mutta ei yhtään liian rasvaista ja imeytyy ihoon ihan hetkessä. Ainakin mun kuivahkolle iholle just sopiva koostumus. Aika usein käytän voiteen lisäksi Lumenen Vitamin C-seerumia, jos iho tuntuu vielä kuivalta, tai sitten lisään voiteen päälle vielä jotakin öljyä ennen nukkumaan menoa. Arbutinin silmänympärysgeelin tilasin meidän ennakkotilausvalikoimasta. Itseasiassa tilasin samalla Arbutinin seerumin couperosa-iholle, joka olikin kuitenkin loppunut varastosta, joten sen ehkä hankin joskus myöhemmin. Detria Arbutin on myös kotimainen merkki, joka käyttää Lapin luonnon antimia tuotteissaan. Parasta!
The Frantsila Kehäkukkavoide I have used now for a while. It is a Finnish organic product that is lovely to use, so it is a jackpot. It is thick enough, but not oily at all and it absorbs to the skin in seconds. At least for my semi dry skin the consistency is perfect. Quite often I also use Lumene Vitamiv C serum on top of the cream if my skin feel dry, or I might add some oil on the skin before going to sleep. That Arbutin eye serum I ordered from our preorder selection. Actually I also ordered a serum for couperosa skin from Arbutin as well, but it was out of stock, so maybe I’ll buy it later. Detria Arbutin is also a Finnish company and it uses ingredients from the Lapland nature. Perfect!
Viimeisimpänä, muttei vähäisimpänä on Munken’s Bisalva eli mehiläisvoide. Ainakin Life-myymälöissä tuota myydään. Mehiläisvoide sopii vähän kaikkeen ihonhoitoon ja huulirasvaksi. Käytän mehiläisvoidetta kerran pari viikossa ripsiin ja silmänympärysiholle ennen nukkumaanmenoa. Varsinkin jos silmänympärysiho tuntuu herkältä meikinpoiston jälkeen, on ihana laittaa ohut kerros mehiläisvoidetta rauhoittamaan ja kosteuttamaan ihoa yöksi. Käytän tätä myös poskipäiden couperosa-iholle, jos iho tuntuu erityisen punoittavalta. Haluan ainakin uskoa, että voiteen mehiläisvaha vahvistaa ohutta ihoa! Voide sopii myös kynsinauhoille, nirhaumiin ja erityisen kuivan ihon hoitoon.
The last, but not least is the Munken’s Bisalva, a bee cream. They sell it at least in the Life stores. The cream can be used to almost any skin care and as a lip balm. I use the balm once or twice a week to my lashes and eye area before going to bed. Especially if the skin around the eyes feels irritated after make-up removal, it feels lovely to apply a thin layer of the bee balm on the skin to calm and moisturize it during the night. I also use the balm on the couperosa skin on my cheeks, if the skin feels irritated. At least I want to believe that the propolis of the balm makes the skin stronger! The balm is also very good on cuticles, scratches and treating especially dry skin.
