Kyllä se tuntui aika oudolta olla kotona ilman Tyyneä, kun on niin tottunut, että se on täällä. Tänään olis ollu Siivouspäivä, mutta mulla meni se ihan ohi. Luulin, että se oli 20.5. eikä tänään. Mulla edelleenkin odottelee nuo kirppiskamat myyntiä, niin olisko vinkkejä missä kannattais myydä? Missä käy parhaiten kauppa?

Back with baby baby – Tyyne is back in the hoods! It felt quite weird to home without Tyyne, because we are so used to having her here. Today was the Cleaning Day and I totally forgot it. Actually I thought it was 20.5. and not today. I still have those bags full of second hand stuff to be sold. Any suggestions where to sell them? What is the best place in Helsinki?

Sillon kun oltiin vielä mun vanhempien luona käymässä, käytiin yhtenä iltana meren rannassa katteleen auringon laskua. Toisella puolella taivas oli vaaleanpunainen, toisella puolella keltainen ja meri näytti ihan vaaleansiniseltä. Tosi nättiä! Ja tosi kylmää… Mulla oli kevytuntsikka päällä ja silti paleli. Pitäis mennä useammin ihan vartavasten johonkin katteleen auringonlaskua. Ne on monesti niin kauniita, mutta harvoin tulee mentyä mihinkään niitä katseleen.

Tulin siis viime yönä junalla Oulusta Helsinkiin (kesti yli 9 tuntia) ja aamulla olin perillä. En yllättäen saanu junassa yhtään nukuttua, joten aamupäivä meni kotona nukkuessa. Sitten käytiin Itiksessä vähän kaupoissa katteleen, mutta palattiin tyhjin käsin takaisin. Ja ihan hyvä niin! Tänään on karkkipäivä, eli illalla on luvassa leffa ja karkkia. Jeee! Kivaa viikonloppua! 🙂

Sunset drive – Hello! When we were still visiting my parents, one night we went to see the sunset by the sea. On the other side the sky was pink, on the other side it was light yellow and the sea seemed light blue. So pretty! And so cold… I was wearing a light winter jacket and I was still feeling cold. We should go more often to see the sunsets. They are often so pretty, but so seldom we actually go somewhere to see them.

Last night traveled from Oulu to Helsinki by train (it took over 9 hours) and in the morning I arrived home. I didn’t get any sleep on the train, so I spent the forenoon sleeping. After that we went to Itis to some shops, but we returned empty handed. And better so! Today is a candy day, so later tonight we will watch a movie and eat candy. Yeeesss! Have a nice weekend! 🙂

A little sparkle – Kun on päivä puutarhatöitä ja remonttihommia takana, on hyvä nauttia vähän kuohuvaa terassilla. Lasitetulla terassilla tarkeni eilen illalla ilman takkia, ei yhtään palellu! Ihan vähän ehkä harmittaa, että etelässä on just nyt lämmintä, kun ei olla siellä, mutta toisaalta ehtiipä sitä nauttia auringosta myöhemminkin. Kesä on vasta alussa! Ja ihokin kiittää, kun ei tuu oltua auringossa. Eikä tarvi tuhlata aikaa auringossa makaamiseen, vaan voi tehä muita juttuja! Löytyyhän näitä hyviä puolia, kun vähän miettii 😀 Kohta aletaan pannukakkukahveille. Mitäs muuta sitä sunnuntaina tarvis tehä?

A little sparkle – After a full day of gardening and renovation work, it’s good to have some sparkling drinks at the terrace. The terrace has glass walls so it wasn’t cold at all, no jackets needed! I’m maybe just a little bit pissed that it is warm in the south now that we are not there, but I guess we will have our chance to enjoy the warmth later. The summer is just beginning! And the skin is also happy to avoid the sunshine. And I don’t need to waste time on sunbathing so I’ll have more time for other things! I can find the positive sides of this weather if I try hard 😀 Soon we will have coffee and pancake. What else would we do on a Sunday afternoon?

Weekend – Ahh, viikonloppu ja vapaata! Eilen mulla oli Pariisin lento, mutta tänään ja huomenna on vapaata. Aamulla mun oli tarkoitus yllättää Aws ja tehä aamupala valmiiksi, mutta tottakai Aws heräs kun nousin ylös ja Tyynekin kävi sitä herätteleen. Joten käskin Awsin pysyä sängyssä ja sillä aikaa keittelin kahvit ja puuron ja paistoin croissanteja. Vähän vastapainoa sille, että Aws tekee yleensä aamupalan joka aamu 😀 Kävin Tyynen kans juoksemassa ja jumppasin vähän lisää kotona. Nyt ajattelin kokeilla noita mun Pekingistä ostamia kasvonaamioita, juoda teetä ja miettiä, mitä ohjelmaa keksitään illalle 🙂 Ihanaa viikonloppua teillekin!

Weekend – Ahh, a weekend without work! Yesterday I had a Paris flight, but today and tomorrow I have no work. This morning I was planning on surprising Aws by making breakfast, but of course he woke up when I got up and Tyyne also came to wake him up. So I told him to stay in bed meanwhile I made coffee, oatmeal and croissants. A little balance to him making the breakfast every single morning 😀 I went for a run with Tyyne and did some exercise at home. Now I’m going to try those face masks I bought from Beijing, drink tea and think what we are going to do later today 🙂 Have a lovely weekend!

Beautiful Helsinki – Hejsan! Taas takaisin kotona Shanghaista! Meidän paluulento oli vähän poikkeuksellinen, kun meillä oli vain noin 50 matkustajaa kyydissä kiinalaisten lomapäivän takia. Lisäksi tehtiin paluussa ennen laskeutumista sight seeing-kiemurat Helsingin yllä meidän A350-koneiden 1-vuotissynttäreiden kunniaksi. Sattu onneksi oleen kaunis sää, niin näki tosi hyvin Helsinkiä! Myös esim. Suomenlinna ja Vallisaari oli siistiä nähdä yläilmoista. Tämän postauksen kuvat otettiin ennen Shanghain reissua, kun käytiin vähän pyörimässä kaupungilla. Kyllä Helsinki on aika kaunis kaupunki, täytyy myöntää. Pitäis enemmän käydä vaan käveleskeleen sellasillakin alueilla, missä ei normaalisti tuu käytyä. Kauniita alueita ja rakennuksia varmasti riittää! Mikä on teidän mieleisin kaupunginosa Helsingissä?

Beautiful Helsinki – Hello! Back home from Shanghai! Our return flight to Helsinki was a little exceptional, because we had only about 50 passengers on board. We also did a little sight seeing tour over Helsinki before landing, to celebrate the 1 year birthday of our A350-planes. The weather was beautiful, so we got a nice look over Helsinki. It was also cool to see Suomenlinna, Vallisaari etc. from the sky. The pictures on this post were taken before my trip to Shanghai, when we were out in the center. Helsinki really is a beautiful city, I have to admit. It’s so nice to just go walk around also in the areas where you don’t usually go, should do that more. There’s a lot of beautiful areas and buildings everywhere! What is your favorite part of Helsinki?
