Heippa! Pitkästä aikaa taas listaa kehiin 🙂 Saatiin eilen ensi kuun listat ja ihan kivalta näyttää! Yks kauko, yks Kanarian lento ja pari Oulun yöpyvää. Krabi – Phuket-reissulla oon ollut kerran aikaisemmin, silloin kun olin just alottanu lentämisen. Edellisestä Las Palmasin reissustakin on mennyt jo tovi.
Las Palmasin reissu on sellanen vajaan vuorokauden reissu, mutta ehtii siinä sentään käydä vähän paikallisessa kaupassa ostaan jotain Espanjan herkkuja 🙂 Phuket – Krabi reissu on vähän pidempi kuin tavallinen kaukolento, koska siinä lennetään ensin Krabille ja sieltä siirrytään seuraavana päivänä Phukettiin. Phuketista lennetään sitten seuraavana päivänä kotiin. Kiva päästä aurinkoon, edes hetkeksi!
Tuleeko teillä muuten mieleen kysymyksiä lentoihin ja työvuoroihin liittyen? Aika usein lennoilla kuulee mitä ihmeellisimpiä kysymyksiä esimerkiksi meidän työaikoihin liittyen. Multa saa kysyä, jos tulee jotain mieleen 🙂

Hello! A roster post after a while 🙂 Yesterday we got the April roster and it is looking nice! One long-haul flight, one Canary Island trip and two Oulu-overnights. I’ve been on that Krabi-Phuket trip once before, when I had just started flying. It was also a long time ago when I visited Las Palmas the last time.
The Las Palmas trip is only around 24 hours, but there is time to visit some local shop and buy some Spanish treats 🙂 The Krabi – Phuket trip is a little longer than a normal long haul flight, because we first fly to Krabi and then the next day we move to Phuket. Then the next day we fly home from Phuket. It is nice to see some sun, even for a moment!
Do you have some questions in your mind about the schedules flight attendants have? I hear pretty often quite strange questions for example about the work times of the flight attendants. I’ll be happy to answer if you want to ask something 🙂
Moikka! Kuinka kauan olet ollut nyt lentoemäntänä? Ehkä olet aikaisemmin maininnutkin, mutta olen suht uusi lukija. Sattumalta löysin blogisi ja onpa kiinnostavaa nähdä minkälaista elämää Finnairilla vietät.

Hey, I do have little question regarding your work. I read somewhere that Helsinki is trying to go car free in the next years, so I assume the public transport must be pretty efficient. Since you must sometimes be having night departures/arrivals, standby etc, do you have to use your own car to get to work?
I am in the process of applying for open position so I am wondering if a car is a must 🙂

Hello! Yes, the public transportation is very good in the Helsinki area! The flight attendants also have the right to use taxi at certain times at night. So it is possible to work as a flight attendant without owning a car, but you need to live in an area that the public transportation covers 🙂
